Maple Harbour Adventures are now available through Lightening Source Inc, the world's largets book distribution service. As my previous distributor, BWL, has unfortunately stopped operations, I had to find a new distribution service. Luckily, LSI has taken the booos on, which will give them unlimited distribution everywhere.
Wow, pretty excited to get my first cheque from the Canada Council for the Arts, through the Public Lending Rights Program. This program provides payment to authors whose books are in public libraries across Canada. Thanks to all those librarians that put Adventuire on Whalebone island and The mYstery of the Missing Mask in their libraries! This year SOS at Night will be eligible for the program, so hopefully it will find its way into libraries across the country as well.
A new review of SOS at Night has been posted by Voctoiria area blogger Audrey Driscoll. Thanks Audrey.

www.coastreporter.net/entertainment/arts-entertainment/gibsons-author-adds-to-kids-adventure-series-1.23499068 Just picked up the new book from the printers! It will be launched tomorrow, with copies available on the Sunshine Coast and at Amazon, and available in bookstores everywhere shortly after that.
I've been working on arranging a school reading tour of Saskatchewan, and it looks like things are all finalized now for the week of November 19. I'll be visiting 11 schools in Regina, 8 in Saskatoon, and one in Moose Jaw. This is all in support of my nomination for the Diamond Willow Award - Saskatchewan Young Readers' Choice Award. I haven't been to Saskatchewan for many years, so I'm really looking forward to it.
The third Maple Harbour Adventure is now complete and has gone to the printers. The new book is called SOS at Night, and had Claire, Ryan, Kendra, Nathan and Meg discovering an old lighthouse, that's being sold under mysterious circumstances.
Expected release is mid-November, so keep an eye out for it. Here's a sneak peak at one of the illustrations. I've been working hard on getting a third Maple Harbour Adventure book finished in time for Christmas. And I'm pleased to say that a draft copy has now gone to the editor for review. We're working on the illustrations and hope to be published some time in November.
